Nowadays, what are you most grateful for?

I am most grateful for my life, my well-being, and my spirituality. In a time of many uncertainties, it has helped me remain grounded, enjoy my family and live by faith. Due to the COVID restrictions, I have enjoyed the silence and peace.I had the opportunity to just be alone and grow. My eyes were opened to the Father's character, allowing me to see HIM as the provider, providing peace of mind knowing that I need not worry at night. In general, I am grateful.

How have you been making sure you're making room for joy and light in your life, even when things feel so bleak?

My daily routine involves exercising, meditating, and praying. All of these activities make me feel positive every day. I do not watch a lot of television, I stay away from the news. In addition to feeding my mind, body, and spirit with the correct information, I also choose to surround myself with positive energy. I am intentional about where my energy goes.

What changes have you made to your lifestyle in terms of wellness since the pandemic?

I've been exploring a lot of my creative talents like design and beadwork, and it's been healthy for my mental health to do things that I enjoy. I also have more time. It was also fun discovering parks and reserves in my area since the gym was not always open.

Being the best version of yourself professionally and personally daily is your commitment to self - how do you keep this at the forefront when life becomes too busy?

The key is to feed your spirit. When you feed your spirit, you naturally follow it. You're calmer and when you do become too busy, you always take time to pause and breathe.

What’s the secret to staying youthful and energetic?

Healthy living. There is no short cut. You have to have a positive mind, eat nutritious food, exercise and get enough sleep.

How do you balance taking care of your family at home and self-care?

If you are aware of not neglecting yourself, then the idea is really simple. Even taking a bath before bed is self-care, making sure you massage the products on your face, or massaging your scalp when you apply hair food. My morning meditation is self-care.

Favourite way to treat yourself?

An idyllic getaway in a remote area, among the trees, or a fabulous dinner prepared by a renowned chef.
How do you deal with periods characterised by a lack of inspiration or procrastination in your life and work?

Procrastination is my weakness, and I have to work hard every day to overcome it. I have to set daily goals, schedule in advance, and ensure that tasks are completed when they need to be done, most of the time before they are due because I know myself well.
What is the most important lesson you have learned about success?

I must speak myself out of feeling uninspired by keeping eyes on the prize.

What is the most important lesson you have learned about success?

It means different things to different people. I have learned that it's not just about financial gain, but about having a balance in your life. I would hate to be a great director at the expense of my family, that would be a failure.

What advice can you offer people who are in a rut?

Nothing is impossible. The same God that created the universe also made you; you are divine, and you have the ability to create and manifest. You are born with gifts and talents. Every person has a purpose when they are born, and every person has adequate space on the earth, you just need to figure out what you need to do. Operating from a position of abundance rather than a place of lack will give you the opportunity to see opportunities instead of obstacles.

What do you want your legacy to be?

Peace. I wish to be known for spreading love and motivating others to live joyous, joyful lives. If all of us operated from a place of love, the world would be a better place.

Your parting wisdom?

Although I don't remember where I read it, these are the words I live by: "Give love until you realise you are love."

Top 5 things you'd want to take with you anywhere you go (non necessities).
Eyeliner, incense, sunglasses, chocolate coated digestive biscuits and lip balm or lipstick

What's your favourite Wine/Restaurant/Holiday Destination?

Throw me in the bush, add luxury and watch me come alive!
